Wesley Benning
is the president/owner of the company. He
grew up and currently lives in the Flint area.
He started the company in 1980 and is still
very much involved in the sales and marketing
of the company. He is active in supporting
the community and a member of the National
Federation of Independent Business, Construction
Association of Michigan and the Chamber ofCommerce.
Gary Lee grew up in the
Flint area. He graduated from Central Michigan
University with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Chemistry and Biology. Gary spent 15 years
in "technical" sales in Detroit
and Grand Rapids. In 1989, he returned to
the Flint area to work with Wesley Benning
in sales and marketing on Bennings new industrial
floor coating division. Gary currently works
as our sales manager in the flooring division.
Corrina Overmyer is our
office manager. She has been with the company
since 1999. Prior to her employment with Bennings
Painting, Inc., Corrina was an office manager
for a steel company. Corrina graduated magna
cum laude from Baker College with a Bachelors
of Science degree in Business Administration
with emphasis on Accounting.
Jay Youmans attended Carmen
High School in Flint, MI, and upon graduation
in 1983 joined the U.S. Army. Jay served in
the Army Reserves until 1989. After working
in the family business of woodworking and
cabinetry for a few years, he began a career
with Bennings in 1991. Soon, Jay became a
foreman in both the painting and flooring
operations and has been the Project Manager
for several years.
